If you've ever wondered how to make miniature dollhouse sofa's and chairs, curtains, and a trestle table and chairs then you'll be happy to know that Jennifer Brooks "Jennifer's Free Dollhouse Printables" website and her "Let's Build A Dollhouse" website has tutorials on her websites showing you how.
Here's what Jennifer had to say about her tutorial: The instructions here are for a very basic simple sofa, with photographs illustrating the steps you need to take to make a dollhouse sofa from cardboard and fabric. You can use the method described below to make any style of sofa, chair or loveseat.
Here's what Jennifer had to say about her tutorial: When you are just starting out with a dollhouse, it is hard to buy or make everything you need right away.
A good solution for very inexpensive and easy to make window curtains is to create them from paper. They are very easy to make, and look quite effective in a dollhouse.
Here's what Jennifer had to say about her tutorial: A trestle table is a timeless piece of furniture. It looks correct in a Medieval castle setting, an American colonial house or a contemporary dollhouse. A trestle table was one of the first pieces of furniture I made for my dollhouse. I had little access to dollhouse shops back in the 1980's BI [Before Internet] , hence I made a lot of my own furniture. I didn't think I could make decent chairs so a trestle table with benches was a good alternative. A trestle table is much more simple to construct than a table with four legs.
