Ten Days of Handmade Gift Ideas For The Holiday's Series - Day 8

I just love handmade gifts. In fact, I should say I really prefer handmade gifts.

It's not that I don't like and appreciate other gifts. It's just that with the handmade gifts I know how much time and effort has gone into making them and they, therefore, become more precious to me.

I love giving handmade gifts now as a matter of choice. However, when I was younger and times were tough the only way I could afford gifts was to make them.

I know that times are tough for a lot of people now and thought maybe I could help by creating a series of suggestions for handmade gifts for the holiday season from so many of the wonderful artists and crafters who have contributed FREE crafts projects, patterns, suggestions, and ideas to my "The Best FREE Craft Articles" blog.

So, between now and December 15th I'm going to post my "Ten Days of Handmade Gift Ideas For The Holidays" series. I hope you enjoy my series.

"Ten Days of Handmade Gift Ideas For The Holidays"

Day 8 -

Here's some great suggestions:

How about sewing Henrietta's Three Dimensional Tote Bag or knitting Julia Sprague 's Argylish vest. You could paint Tonya Hopkins's Rose Tap Light or sew Kimberly Sherrod's Kitchen Dress Towel. You could even stitch Sylvia's Utility Table Runner for the quilt lover's on your list or craft Megan Tucker's Jar Lights for the primitive or country lover on your list.
