For one blanket, buy 1-1/8 yards of flannel for one side. So 2 panels, at 1-1/8 yard each panel. Once home, wash flannel and dry flannel. Do this twice for better shrinkage. Put wrong sides together. Using a serger, serge around whole blanket. You can curve the corners, for a better look. If you don’t have a serger use your sewing machine, but this will be right sides together for the flannel, sew all around and leave a hole big enough to flip. Then flip and sew up hole. Stitch around blanket edges about ½ inch to secure and have lay flat. Have fun making these! I’ve made several for charities and hospitals.
